Intent
Somewhere to hang a coat that does not leave the room feeling like a hallway.
Research
A coat rack is usually just hooks. Pohon adds warm light, 2700K to 3000K, against natural wood.
CAD ideation
Evolution of Pohon
Panels bent outward at thinner points. Screws were harder to assemble. A higher base lost stability.
Screw positions changed. Base dropped too low. Panels still felt sharp.

Outcome
The lamination lines stay exposed, and the glow runs along the inner curve instead of pointing into the room.
